Somewhere in the Night

image

Light fades with flickering flames
Balmy breeze wafts through the trees
Pleasant shivers blanket the flesh
Akin to receiving a lover’s kiss

The heady scent of gardens perfume
Wraps round making her swoon
Leaves a warmth inside her heart
As Cheshire Moon smiles upon this night

And with the rise of the morning sun
That moon does softly pale
Yet the feeling lingers inside her heart
With desirous thoughts that ever remain

Illumination

image

He rose from the depths of her unconscious mind, like smoke drifting from the unknown, wrapping himself around and penetrating her soul. “I feel you…I feel you”, she whispered inside; as dawns early light crept in, illuminating her senses, and softly he faded as morning’s mist, just as she reached to bring him to her.

WORDS OF WHISPERS

Soft gentle
Warm velvety
Kisses
Brushing her cheeks
Her eyelids

Fingers tangling
In black and silver locks
Like a warm breeze
From heaven her scent

Laying her down
Naked on the bed
Hair dangling
Barely touching flesh

He drags it
Slowly
Gently
Across her body

She gasps
Then moans
Back arching
Hands reaching

Pulling him to her
Kissing him fully
Leaving her breathless
Wanting for more

His breath is warm
His words but a whisper

I love feeling you
Smile under my lips
Flinch under my touch
Shiver under my tongue

Watch you tickle
Your nose in my fur
Take a deep breath
Inhaling me completely

A long shuddering sigh
When finally you touch it
Running trembling fingers
Gently through it

Smiling wide
Biting your lip
Holding me tight
Finding your peace

Breathing deep
As if whole again
Home in my arms
Where you belong

Squirming beneath me
Moaning on top of me
Sweating on top of me
Whimpering beneath me

Crying out my name
Crushing my hands in yours
Chewing on your finger
Just before you peak

Losing yourself
In my eyes
When finally I explode
Deep inside of you

Seeing you fight sleep
To stay awake and watch me
Listen intently as your
Breathing slows

Watch the smile
Crawl across your face
As you bury your self
Deep in the nook

Pull you closer
Wrap you in my love
Thank the universe
You’re safe in my arms

EVENING IN

She stood at the counter
Knowing he would be home soon
Humming to herself
As she lovingly prepared their meal

Nothing extravagant
But special nonetheless
An evening to be shared

Food and drink
Conversation
Soft music
Stories to be told
Stories to be heard

Brushing unruly hair back
Pouring another glass of wine
Checking the clock
Smiling to herself
Warm, homey aromas filling the kitchen

Leaning forward
Hands grasping the edge of the counter
She relaxes
Enjoying the smells of home
The taste of the wine
Gentle breeze playing in the chimes

Strong hands grasp her wrists
His body presses against her back
She jerks in surprise
Then relaxes immediately
As his scent fills her world
The warmth of his body
Igniting a fire in hers

He whispers in her ear
Words of love
He missed her
Adores her
Wants her

She smiles
Trying to turn
His grip on her unyielding
Strong and intent

He kisses her ear
Slides his hands back
Grasps her hips
Pressing himself against her
More forcefully

He kisses her neck
His breath hot on her
She shudders
A small moan
Perhaps a whimper
Escapes her

And he smiles
Knowing the need
Knowing the cure

Hands sliding up
Cupping full breasts
Thumbs brushing
Nipples straining against fabric
Aching for his touch

Kisses still hot on her neck
Soft whispers
Questions
Promises

He unbuttons her shirt
Slowly
Slides it from her shoulders
Falling to the floor

Hands returning to flesh now exposed
Softly caressing her smooth belly
Working his way down
Firmly grasping the waistband
Shoving her gypsy skirt to the floor

He stands back for a moment
Drinking in the sight of her
Exposed to him
Exposed for him

He breathes hot in her ear
I see you
And you are
Simply
Exquisite

Pressing himself harder against her now
Kisses on her ears, neck, back
More fervent now
Fingers exploring the delicacies awaiting him
Opening her to him
Bringing her need to fever pitch

Breath coming in gasps now
Trembling
Skin aching
She tears herself from his grasp
Turns to face him

Undeniable desire burning into him
Through emerald eyes gleaming with the heat
Throwing arms around his neck
Legs around his waist

She frantically devours his lips
Kissing his face, his eyes
Breathing in his warm, spicy scent
Senses near overload
She begs him with her eyes

Take me
Please
Take me now

He carries her to the table
Spreading her before him
Tongue slowly exploring
Sampling
Enjoying
Devouring

Bringing her quickly to climax
Shuddering
Crying out his name
He takes her slowly
Excruciatingly to the edge

She begs him
Please
Let me
Make me

She reaches for him
Close
So close

She begins to tighten
Muscles beginning to lock
Back arching hard

And he stands
And walks away

Breath catching in her throat
She stops cold
Screaming from the edge
Unable to go on
Unable to go back
Unable to move

He grins wickedly at her
Over the rim of his wine glass
She pleads with him
Eyes begging
Unable to form the words
Don’t leave me here
Please

Slowly he sheds his shirt
Pants dropping to the floor
Making his way back to her
Standing between her legs

A single fingertip tracing
A line down her stomach
Over her bellybutton
Slowly moving further down
Barely touching her aching heat
She explodes violently

Heat
Desire
Need
Want
Screaming
Sweating

All exploding from her
And then
At that exact moment
He buries himself in her
Completely
To the hilt

She explodes again
Never really stopping
Stars dance before her eyes

And beyond
She sees him
Above her

Desire
Lust
Heat
Love
Worship

He makes love to her then
Slowly
Intently

Filling her every desire
For an eternity it seems
Again and again he takes her

Over the edge
Heights unknown
Blinding ecstasy
Unrelenting
Seemingly unending

Near the point of exhaustion now
She begs him
With emerald eyes
Velvety pink lips

Go there with me
Now
Come with me
And he takes her

Hard
Fast
Merciless
Senses reeling
Desire unrelenting
Passionate cries
Breath coming in gasps

And then
The world explodes
For them both
Simultaneous

Time stops
Nothing exists outside
Just the one they have become

Unity
Completion
All

Hours later, seemingly
Consciousness returns
Breathing slowed to normal again
The gentle sound of wind chimes
Birds chittering outside the window
Warm evening sunlight bathing them
The smells of home

She smiles softly
Dinner’s ready…

Taste test

He kissed me
Passionately
Then asked me
To leave

Only wanted
A taste
Said he wasn’t
Hungry

The visit

the visit

He could see how tired she was, that day he happened upon her alone in the café; and though he purposely took his thoughts elsewhere, ignoring her completely, he knew from her body language that he’d once known so well, there was something amiss; and he couldn’t help but wonder what was going on in her life that was causing such fatigue.

Years ago he’d gone away from her, removed her completely from the equation of his life; but that didn’t stop him, from on occasion, seeing her shadow pass across his wall. Each time it happened, his perception shifting; re-instilling those truths and beliefs he’d discovered while in the presence of her; a presence he once believed was easy to shake, though part of him secretly yearned to hold onto.

While his real life was constantly in the forefront of his thinking, somewhere in the back of his mind lingered the life they had known; that driving light, filled with her laughter, dimmed by her cries, exploding with their passion; bringing something magical to his world of sameness.

His ability to sense her presence from miles away, clouding his memory on sun-dappled days; the one constant, through the years that had remained; though he still wasn’t sure, if what he was feeling was real; or simply his imagination running wild, that caused him to linger, night after endless night. A vigil in the darkness, waiting for and willing her to come.

The rains came, followed by raging thunder and a fantastical lightening show, as he sat in the corner of the darkened room; waiting, watching, hoping; that she would not disappoint. He fell asleep in the chair somewhere around three, waking suddenly as a cool breeze, brushed gently across his flesh.

He opened his eyes and watched in silent fascination; as the misty shadow floated gracefully across the room; then as if willing it to happen, she slowly began to materialize.

She was wild-eyed in her misery, carrying the same tired and worn out expression he’d seen a few days before, etched across her beautiful face. He knew right then that he had called her to him; that she never would have come on her own. His heart overflowing, with the sudden feeling of guilt; for the pain he had caused, because of what together they had done.

He sat up a little straighter, unconsciously clinging to the arms of the chair; gathering courage, he spoke out to her. “I don’t blame you. I know you think I do; but I don’t. I never did.”

She turned slowly, casting her gaze upon him; the veil of her so thin, that he could see right through it. In the blink of an eye, the span of a breath, she was upon him; face-to-face, as they once comfortably lay. She hovered in front of him, weightless; though he could feel her pressing down on him; searching his face, seeking truth in his eyes; as a single tear, sparkling like a jewel, dripped from hers; landing as a raindrop, upon his naked thigh.

He wanted to tell her that he missed her; that he worried and wondered of her constantly. That their time spent together had not been in vain; that a part of her, in his heart, would always remain. And while the words he still could not muster, the one thing she never ran dry of; the truth she saw clearly, in his green aging eyes.
