Between Sheets and Dreams

Soft curves illuminated in the moonlight
as the sheet is removed ever-so-slowly
so as not to wake her

Fingertips lightly brushing flesh
body begins to squirm sporadically
delicate moans escape on her breath

Languidly tracing the inside of her thigh
legs instinctively part slightly
in blissful sleep she chews her own finger

Shuddering at the first touch
heat emanating instantly
hips rotate deliberately

buttons
fingers
triggers
spots

heat rising
muscles tightening
breath panting
heart pounding

clutching sheets
body quaking
eyes fluttering
bolting upright

She quivers with little after-tremors
zinging bolts of lightening flashes
she looks over to see the bed empty

She lays back down smiling
pulls the sheet up over her
wishing for a speedy return to dreamland
