Haiku you

Depressions endless darkness loomed
Taking hold in which to slowly consume
One determined light shining brightly through

He was always rather
Coming and going on
Staying only long
To see her interest

Quote of the day

“All things are subject to interpretation; whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.”
~ Friedrich Nietzsche

Pompous ass

He sits in judgment
On his throne of

Nothing to show
For his time in

But material possessions
He wants others
To covet

Understanding not
Why his family
So perfect

Do not bring happiness
He thinks he deserves

Yet never questions why
He diverts his own reflection

Afraid of what he’ll find
If faced with the man in the mirror

In the service of
Ego’s agenda
Power trips ensue

Trying at best
Destructive at worst
Leading us deeper
Into confusion and conflict

Unprocessed emotion
Released into stillness
Focus shifting
Drama untangling

Breaking free slowly
Calling out for healing

Exquisite Wandering

Languidly she lingers
On the wave of desire
He secretly built
Within the walls
Of her heart

Outside the restraints
Of self inflicted bonds
Passion awakens
The slumbering Temptress

Holding a sense of wonder
Emerging from dark silence
In search of the one would satisfy
Her insatiable burning hunger

Witnessing this
Her final release
He takes all she gives in offering
Extricating their mutual pain

Loving her madly
Vast and freely
Penetrating her soul
Until she cries no more

People are fine, so long as you’re telling them what they think they want to hear; but push that ‘Real’ button and they’ll turn on you in a heartbeat. You know the one – it opens the door and lets the truth spill out…

True to you

Release your soul
From martyrdom
When the cause is

Stone walls cannot
A prison make
If you have freedom
In your love
